Sigma International & Associates

Obtain your required 4 hours of annual firearms requalification training at Sigma International & Associates’ Firearms Training Academy.  Our instructor is a graduate of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center Firearms Instructor Training Program, has qualified as Sharpshooter on the Practical Pistol Course for Firearms Instructors, and is a State of Florida Class "K" license Firearms Instructor. 

The training includes:

• Review of Legal Aspects of the Use of Firearms and When to Use a Gun
• Review of Operational Firearm Safety
• Review of Firearms Mechanical Training
• Review of Firearms Qualification
• Examination (70% of correct answers is passing score)
• Firearms Requalification (168 points or 70% of a possible 240 points)

A signed certificate of firearms proficiency for statewide firearm license will be issued upon successful completion of training.

You are recommended to bring the following items to the range; however, do not bring your firearm into class or instructor’s office.

• Eye, ear protection, and a baseball style hat
• .38 Revolver or 9mm semi-automatic handgun
• (3+) speed loaders (or 3+ magazines, if appropriate)
• Quality duty holster and loader/magazine pouches
      (NO cross draw, shoulder, SOB, or ankle holsters)
• Comfortable clothing that provides protection from both the sun and ejected brass
